Seagull

I am pleased to have secured the help of NatureScot for their branding to feature on signs encouraging local people not to feed seagulls.

I am hopeful of building more support to tackle this growing problem.

I have received a lot of complaints from local residents in Eyemouth and the surrounding areas about aggressive seagulls, which are attacking people and putting young children at risk.

Hopefully these signs can make a positive difference to prevent people from feeding the seagulls, which only encourages them to be more hostile.

This issue still requires further action and I believe the community must come together to develop a seagull management plan as a matter of urgency.
