As the first day of the Border Union Show gets underway, local MSP Rachael Hamilton has published the Scottish Conservatives’ plan to accelerate the growth of the agritourism sector in Scotland.

Farm visit highlights importance of diversification

Rachael Hamilton MSP visited Whitriggs Farm near Denholm to see the excellent work being carried out by farmers to diversify.

In the past decade, there have been around 1000 casualties on both the A7 and the A1 with them ranging from slight to fatal.
