Borders MSP backs lamb campaign for St Andrews Day

Rachael Hamilton MSP has said the SNP must go “further and faster” in promoting the benefits of Scotch lamb to consumers across Scotland.

Mrs Hamilton took part in a Members Business debate in Parliament on the Lamb for St Andrews Day campaign.

Action on the A7 needs a fresh focus

Rachael Hamilton MSP and Oliver Mundell MSP have said that the A7 Action Group needs a ‘new approach’ when tackling issues along the route. 

On Monday, the group met in Heart of Hawick to hold their Annual General Meeting, where Mrs Hamilton and Mr Mundell stood back as Chairs. 

£50m success for MND campaign

Borders MSP Rachael Hamilton has praised the work of charities and campaigners, including the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and local MP John Lamont, for their part in securing £50m of funding to help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
